I had some difficulty getting all the wires into the new bucket but I eventually managed. The placement still needs some tweaking but overall I’m happy with it. Its brighter and uses less voltage then the original light.

I spent a night going through the wiring diagrams for the old clocks and the new gauge. The idiot lights are all working. I haven’t tested the tach yet. It may prove more challenging to setup but there is some documentation online. The Speed sensor still needs a bracket before I can set that up.
Fun times. It took some thinking but it worked out.
Drilling, cutting, bending, taping and painting. I spent the last two weekends modifying brackets for the headlight, turn signals and guages. I still have one more to make for the speed sensor.
As much as I love the old gauges the new digital ones are pretty slick. I like the small form factor and snazy lights.
I still have to wire it up but it’s all set for mounting. I’ve been busy researching (procrastinating?) the wiring to hopefully get it right the first time.
The Chinese to English instructions aren’t very clear. Should be fun figuring it out. At least it turns on and looks nice.
I’m going to use t-bolts to mount the headlight. Just trying to figuure out positioning for the turn signals. Then i’ll be onto putting all the wires back into the headlight bucket. I ended up using the stock switch gear for now. I don’t want to change too much at once, hopefully I’ll keep the problems to a minimum.
